How to Lock and Unlock your Aadhaar Biometric

Aadhaar is given by the Indian Government to every Indian citizen. Aadhaar is a 12 Digit Unique Identification Number. They can maintain Finger Print of 10 fingers, Two Eye Irse data, Name, Address, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth, etc. All your essential Details save on that Aadhaar Card.

Aadhaar Information used in the Banks, Rations Shop, Buy new Sim Card, Land Registration, ensure your identity. You can lock your Aadhaar Card Biometric until you unlock your biometric. Once you lock your card biometric your fingerprint information is not accessible. You can unlock your Biometrics for 15min after that it will lock again. You can also unlock permanently.

How to Lock and Unlock your Card:

Step 1: Goto Aadhaar Portal using this link will directly take you to that particular page.

Step 2: Just click the check box and click the Understand button to go to the next page.

Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar Card Number and Captcha and Click the Send OTP Button.

Step 4: You receive the OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter your OTP and Enter in to Lock and Unlock page.

Step 5: Now click the Enable Locking Feature Button. Now your Biometric Lock Successfully.

Step 6: If you want to unlock follow the same steps above. It will open for 15 Min.

Step 7: If you want permanently unlock the follow the same steps above and click Disable Locking Feature Button to Disable that.
