How to formate the WhatsApp Text Messages

WhatsApp allows you to format your text to different style. Chatting apps give few text formatting options to the users to format the message in different style. You can change your chat message bold, italic, strike and monospace style. You can find how to change text message format on your WhatsApp below.

Italic:

If you want to change your Chat message text to italic you can use this format to change the text to italic.

Use underscore on front and back of the text.

Bold:

If you want to change your Chat message text to Bold you can use this format to change the text to Bold.

Use star on front and back of the text.

Strike Through:

If you want to strike your Chat message text you can use this format to strike the message.

Use this ~ on front and back of the text.

Monospace:

If you want to change your Chat message text to monospace format you can use this format to change the monospoace. In this format all the letters in same size and it looks like computer coding text style.

You can also do this formatting chat message text by selecting the text of the message.

Android: Tap and hold the text you're entering in the text field, then choose Bold, Italic, or More. Tap More to choose Strikethrough or Monospace.

iPhone: Tap the text you’re entering in the text field > Select or Select All > B_I_U. Then, choose Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, or Monospace.
