How to enable the WhatsApp Payment on your WhatsApp App

WhatsApp introduced a feature called WhatsApp Payment. This option was already given by WhatsApp a few years back in India. However, the Indian government does not allow WhatsApp for UPI payment. Because WhatsApp did not store the user information in India. Government instructs WhatsApp to store all user information in India. WhatsApp set up infrastructure in the country and now WhatsApp gets the Approval for WhatsApp Payment. Now WhatsApp role out this feature to all users now for both Android and iOS. In this post, I will explain how to enable WhatsApp Payment on your mobile app.

First, update the WhatsApp app on your mobile.

Open the WhatsApp app on your mobile. Open any Chat Contact and select the attachment option on Chat small pop up will open in that you will select the Payment option it looks like an Indian rupee symbol.

Now the welcome screen will come in that select the accept and continue option.

The next screen will come in that you will select the bank name where you have an account.

After selecting the bank name, you will confirm your phone number.

Before conforming to the phone number just must remind that both your WhatsApp phone number and your given phone number to your bank account are the same. Otherwise, your phone number will not be verified.

Mobile number verified successfully your bank account display on the screen. Select the Bank Account number and move to the next screen.

Now enter your Debit Card Number last 6 Digit Number and the Expired date of your Debit Card Number and move to next screen setup UPI pin.

On the UPI Pin setting page, you will receive the OTP pin to your mobile number enter the pin you received. Next set the PIN for WhatsApp UPI Payment.

After the set, the UPI Pin your WhatsApp payment will enable your WhatsApp payment.

Now you send the money to friends and family through WhatsApp.
