Before smartphones came we mostly used SMS for text communication between our friends and family. After smart phone comes a lot of chatting apps came and we all move to that chatting apps. After that SMS communication will stop we occasionally use the SMS. But we receive a lot of SMS daily like Marketing SMS, Bank Related Transaction, Application Alert SMS, and OTPs for online apps.
Daily We get a minimum of 5 to 10 SMS it will fill your inbox. We need to delete the unwanted SMS from your inbox. For this, you can automate this process on your iPhone and delete the SMS monthly or Yearly.
How to delete the SMS automatically on your iPhone. Follow these steps.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down to see the Message option tap to open.
- After opening the Message Scroll Down to the section Message History and Tap Keep the Message to open.
- In that, you will see the three options 30 Days 1 Year, and Forever.
- If you select the 30 Days option it will delete SMS after 30days you received SMS
- If you select the 1 Year option it will delete SMS after 1'Year you received SMS.
- If you select the Forever option it will keep the SMS on your mobile until you delete it.
