How to Set the Default Currency in Google Sheets

   

Google Default set the currency format in Google Sheet was UK pound £. If you want to change to your country format you can do a simple configuration on your Google Sheet settings. Every time you create a new sheet the default currency was UK pound £. You need to change them every time you create a new Google Sheet.

How to change currency:

Stpe 1:Open Google Sheet with your Gmail ID.

Stpe 2:After opening the new Google Sheet you can see the currency format near the zoom percentage. There you can check what currency format that sheet is currently configured on your sheet.

Stpe 3:If you want to change the currency format click the file option in the menu bar now new dropdown will open.

Stpe 4:Select the Settings option presented at the end of the file menu.

Stpe 5:Now a Settings popup window will open.

Stpe 6:In that setting popup, you can select General Tab in that you see the Locale title below that you see the dropdown in that you select which country format you need.

Stpe 7:After selecting the country now sheet date and currency change accordingly to the country you select.
