How to delete a Send Email in Gmail

   

Gmail has the option to delete the send email. This is handy to stop for accidentally sending the wrong email, confidential attachments to the wrong people or higher officials. But this option is only available for a limited amount of time. After that particular time, you can not delete the email.

Gmail gives a maximum of 30second of time to delete your send email. Default Gmail will set 5 seconds for you can delete the email. If you want to change the time you can do it on the setting page.

How to configure follow the below step.

Open the Gmail app on your browser after selecting the setting option presented on top right of the page.

Now a new dropdown will open. In that select See all settings present first. It will take you to the setting page.

Setting Send Undo

In the setting page under the General tab, you will see the Undo Send option here you can change the time. They give options 5, 10, 20, 30 seconds. You can set your preferable time seconds.

After changing time click the save button to save the changes.

Compose Email

Now click the Compose button to compose a new email and click the send button now you will see the notification on the bottom left side of the page. There you can see the Message Send and Undo option.

Undo Send Email

You can click the Undo button to delete the send email in the receiver inbox. This option is only available for how much time you set it on Send Undo in the setting page.
