Google Sheet is a Spread Sheet tool used to store your textual, financial, number data and also have the option you can analyze your data graphical view. And also you can compare your data with other data and get the results. In this SpreadSheet, if you want to find the text or you want to find and replace the text with other text or you can find the text within the range in your spreadsheet with simple steps. Follow the steps below to how to search and replace the text in Google Sheet.

Step1: Login to your Gmail account, go to Google Drive, and open Google Sheet you want to Find.

Step2: After opening Google Sheet you want to Find the text with two different steps.

Step3: The first one, you can use the short Ctrl F or Command F [mac] to open the find option.

Step4: Now the find option will open in that you Find the text if your need an additional option select the vertical humburger menu find window will open.

In that find and replace window they give options call Find text, Replace Text, Where to search in all sheets, this sheet, and specified range.

Optional: Narrow your search by using the option below

  • Match case: Makes your search case-sensitive.
  • Match entire cell contents: Searches for cells that are an exact match.
  • Search using regular expressions: Searches for cells that match a pattern.
  • Also search within formulas: Searches include formulas.

Using this option you do Find, Replace and Replace All

Other options go to the Edit menu and select the Find and Replace option.

Now the search window will see the same thing that I mention above.
