Google added the chat, rooms, and meet option to G-Suite users one year ago. Now Google enable this option for Android and iOS users for free to use. Before this option was only available to the paid G-Suit users now this option will be available free for all Android and iOS users. If you want the chat option on your Gmail you must enable this option on your Gmail app.
How to enable the chat rooms and meet tab on the Gmail Android app
Open the Gmail app on your mobile and select the menu option presented on the search bar.
After selection, the menu option list menus will open in that select settings options.
Now the setting option will open in that you can select your email id and scroll down to see the general topic below that you see the Chat easy access.
Check the tick mark to enable the chat and rooms tab on the Gmail Android app.
Now go back to the inbox and see the chats and rooms tab in the bottom navigation bar.
