What is the MyGov chatbot on WhatsApp?
In an initiative to make government services accessible, the government has announced the launch of the MyGov chatbot on WhatsApp to access the Digi locker service.
It allows Indian citizens to access their original documents anywhere and anytime.
It is the government of India’s online chatbot for public services on WhatsApp.
It keeps the issued documents encrypted so that only the owner of the documents can access them.
The process to get a PDF file:
Add MyGov WhatsApp Number to your contact list. (+91-9013151515)
Open WhatsApp and type "Digi locker",“Hi,”, or “Namaste”.
The chatbot will ask for a 12-digit Aadhaar Card Number to authenticate the Digi locker account.
Now chatbot will give you the option to issue new documents under your ID and finally you get a PDF file of your document on WhatsApp.
