If you want to move your Axis Bank account from your home branch to another new branch is now possible online. No need to go to your home branch. You do it in your home itself throw a mobile app or internet baking. For this transfer, you need internet banking access on your bank account.
How to move your account on Mobile App:
Open your AxisBank mobile app and log in to your account.
Select more options present at the bottom of the screen. It will take to pop over a screen in that select other services -> Change of Home Branch.
Now you will see your account number and current branch name below that you will see your address.
At the bottom of the screen, you see the two buttons change address and confirm address button. If you want to change the address you can select the change address button.
No address changes then you select the confirm address button. now you will see the current branch address. below that, you will see the nearby branch name. if you want to change nearby branch you can choose it from there.
If your option does not show on the screen you can choose the select manually option to choose the branch you want to move.
After the branch clicks the proceeds button and moves the branch. It will take a few hours to move your account from the current branch to the new branch.
After the transfer you use your account from the new branch your account number will be the same but your account IFSC code will be changed to new branch IFSC code.
