How to record your desktop with VLC player

A lot of the people search the best software for record the desktop screen on the internet. They lot of software available on the internet for free download. But they have a limited number of times after that you must buy the software. Otherwise you cannot record the screen. If you record the screen some software overlay the watermark on the video. It’s not looking like a professional.

You can use the VLC media player to record the desktop free. No need to pay any money and no need to install any other software VLC player solve the entire above mentioned problem. You do your work with free of cost.

How to record the screen:

Open the VLC media player you can see the media option at the top left corner of the screen. Click to open the media menu in that you can see the Open capture device option [or] press ctrl+c

A new popup window will open in that you can see the open capture device tab. In that you can see the capture mode option present at first.

You must select the option if you want to record the live event by the digital camera or web cam you must select DirectShow if you want to record the TV Shows you must select the TV – Digital.

Now we want to record the Desktop so we select the Desktop. After select the desktop we see the new option enable frame rate for the capture. If you want to change the frame rate mean change it here, otherwise keep it default.

After making the above change you must select the arrow button near the play button present at the bottom of the window. In that select the convert option now it will take to new window in that you must give the file name and where you want to save the file on your computer and recorded the screen after complete the recording open the VLC player click pause button.
