Microsoft has introduced an AI feature to its Notepad text editor. You can now use Notepad to create text content for documents, blogs, and more, with AI assistance to enhance your writing. The updated Editor tool offers options to make your content more attractive and easier to understand.
How to Use It:
While drafting in Notepad, simply select the text you’d like to improve. After selecting, right click on the content, and a dialog box will appear. This box lets you adjust the text—for instance, if you want it to be longer or shorter. The Rewrite tool will then provide three alternative versions for you to choose from.

Please note, you’ll need to sign in to your Microsoft account to use Rewrite, as it’s “powered by a cloud-based service that requires authentication and authorization.” Microsoft is launching this feature in preview on Windows 11 in the U.S., France, UK, Canada, Italy, and Germany.
