To make staying connected easier, WhatsApp is thrilled to introduce Voice Message Transcripts. This new feature transforms voice messages into text, ensuring you never miss a conversation, no matter what you're doing.
How Does It Work?
Voice message transcripts are processed directly on your device, keeping your conversations private. Neither WhatsApp nor anyone else can access your personal messages during this process.
Getting started is simple:
- Go to Settings > Chats > Voice Message Transcripts to enable or disable the feature and select your preferred transcription language.
- To transcribe a voice message, just long-press the message and tap ‘Transcribe’.
A Seamless Messaging Experience
Voice message transcripts are rolling out globally over the next few weeks, starting with a selection of languages. WhatsApp plans to expand language support in the coming months, further enhancing this convenient feature.
